deCONZ - ConBee II

Setting up deCONZ is not really fun. It's always finding which magic combination will work do pair ZigBee devices to deCONZ. I am using Home Assistant deCONZ Integration I created account for safety.

Pairing

Login to /core_deconz/dashboard in home assistant choose Phoscon-GW. For not paired Ikea lights I will restart them by 6x times turn on and off by physical switch. After that start pairing with button "Add new lights" in deconz app. (set to 3 or 10 mins). In this time you have to run to all lights and pair them to Ikea remote controll. Good luck with that.

When the lights show up with random names in the deconz app. Try to find out which is which and label them. Probably you will not have all of them so repeat the pairing.

What about swithes?

Switches are nightmare in Czechia. But I found one working in my house it's AQARA Smart Wall Switch H1(With Neutral, Double Rocker) - rocker stands for one or two buttons. I bought it on Aliexpress for cheap. It's shows in deconz as two lights lumi.switch.b2lc04 but who cares? You can use template in home assistant and create switch. How to pair them? Here.

Some statistics

I am using ConBee II for at least 3 years and it's working as charm once you paired it and nobody resets devices. Thank you Phoscon.

Helpful stuff

Do you have troubles with pairing it? Try to use USB 2.0 extender for ConBee and don't use USB port next to this one.
